A “how to” guide to enjoy it to the fullest
- Do store your beer cold. Ideal temperature is 2-6°C being not pasteurized
and with no added preservatives.
- Do transport your beer cold – keep
the cold chain! Even one hour in a warm car can damage the delicate
flavour balance of a fresh all malt beer. We advise you to bring a
cool box, with ice, to pack your brew if you are not going straight
home.
- If you have done both of the above, Drayman’s Beer will be best within
a month and good for maybe another month.
- Don’t expose beer to direct
sunlight – even when it is in your glass – it will
oxidize the beer, giving it a papery, cardboard or honey perfume flavour.
- Don’t
store a half a bottle of beer for more than 30 minutes in the refrigerator
before you empty it. What a good excuse to pace yourself!
